My Current Haircare Favourites

Hair care products arranged on bathroom vanity counter

I stood at my vanity this morning running a comb through my curls for the hundredth time — and didn’t reach for yet another new product. After years of trial and error trying to figure out what my hair actually wants, I finally feel like I’ve nailed the routine. So here’s what’s staying on my shelf right now.

Hairburst Shampoo, Conditioner & Hair Vitamins

These have been part of my core hair routine for about 3 years. The vitamins are chewable (yes, I’m with you on those impossibly large pills) and they taste good while packing in the nutrients my hair needs to grow stronger. I use the curly-range shampoo and conditioner — they smell incredible and leave my hair soft, nourished, and manageable without any residue.

Philip Kingsley Elasticiser

For days when I want to give my hair an extra nourishing boost, this is my go-to. It works for all hair types and has been around for 50 years now — can you believe that? In an industry where new launches come weekly, a product that stands the test of time usually does so for good reason.

Rehab Hair Brush

Tangle Teezer? Wet Brush? I tried them both. Then I tried this one and honestly — oh my word. It’s the softest brush through any knots I’ve ever experienced. It loosens out curls into perfect waves, and I’m not sure I’ve ever loved a hair tool this much before.

Philip Kingsley Daily Damage Defence

I use this for extra hydration without weight, and to loosen tangles before brushing. It smells divine and does the job effortlessly — spray it on damp or dry, comb through, done.

Hermes Copa Dew All Over Nourishing Oil

This isn’t formulated just for hair (you can apply it to cuticles and your whole body if you’re feeling boujee!), but a few drops combed through with my fingers tames flyaways into behaving. It’s weightless, non-greasy, and exactly the kind of oil I’ve been looking for.

Claw Clips

I’ve been using claw clips as an alternative to bobby pins to put my hair in a bun — mostly to reduce the tension pulled on my scalp. No kinks when you let your hair out, and they look effortlessly chic while you’re at it.

A Note from the Studio

Have I missed anything you’d recommend? Tell me your favourites for healthy hair — I’m always looking to upgrade one thing on my routine. Tested on my vanity, not on my ego.
